MOMENTS OF THOUGHT THE ADDICTS IN ME

Life can sometimes taunt you as you search for this invisible void, you see not being able to use any form of substance as to change the way you feel becomes a painfully daunting gruelling time. You see it ain’t easy maintaining this so called life of sobriety it’s as if I’ve almost become an outcast from society. Not being able to socialise in a normal way for the threat of temptation that would almost certainly end in seas of pain and missery, I do see why people relapse and lose the strength and return to that feeling changing substance. After all it’s what they know and once upon a time it did actualy work and it worked well. It’s that infamous chase of euphoria that exempts you from pain and disables your right to feel. Quite good to have something like that to hand at times if only for to delay reality for a night.
